Blue Lotus Mead Ceremonial Dance with Breathwork

Come join us, to explore. Welcoming  your Self, within ceremonial community to explore the cross pollination of Blue Lotus, a Flower of the Nile River, infused within celebratory Mead. A fermented honey wine, of this land,  brought forth by the determination and purposeful life of the Honey Bees…. With which we will combine the pan cultural medicines of Dance, Breath and Sound

Our intention is for us to be, inviting a celebratory Ceremonial Spring synergy.

Honouring these times of global cultural cross pollination, and the relational dance between the holding of the old and fermentation of the new. We will be calling on both the Species, Energies and Spirit of this Land and the benevolent energy of the Sacred Land of Kemet, now known as Egypt. Sharing sacred prayer, moving our bodies to unite with the Mother, Father and Child archetypes of Kemetic culture. Then dancing in celebration of life, freedom of expression and the beauty of our existence.

We will then journey through our inner terrain of the body and inner atmospheres of the mind with a Breathwork Journey. A simple and potentially profound practice of rhythmic active inhale, receptive exhales. Leading us to explore the space in-between with Breath-holds. Then softening through, into the end of the evening with a gentle sound healing journey, combining the sounds of the monochord, gong, bowls, shamanic drumming and other sacred instruments. Afterwards we’ll have time to chat, reflect and connect.

Please read through this document which will orientate you to these medicines, our intention for using them. Inviting a stepping through into trusting what emerges in the ceremony for you.

About Your Facilitators:

Luke Miller has been working ceremonially with plants since 2014. After a 13 month soul initiation working with Ayahuasca in the Amazonian jungle, he travelled to India to integrate the experience and learn Yoga and Pranayama techniques - eventually landing in the UK and being initiated into a form of Kemetic (Egyptian) yoga called Smai Tawi (which means union of the lands). In the last years he has completed a 30 day diet with the Yawanawa tribe in the Amazonian forest in Brazil, learning traditional songs and working with Uni (Ayahuasca) and Hape, and journeyed again to South India to deepen his Hatha Yoga studies. Passionate about studying, he is now a student of the Chek academy learning a complete approach to health and wellbeing of the individual, whilst re-kindling his native yearning for understanding the medicines of our land, our myths and our ancestry. Luke now combines this life experience alongside intuitive sound healing to create ceremonial events of cross cultural healing modalities. A unique transcendental experience merging plants, movement and sound healing.

Bhavinie Peace (Bhavinie Miller) - It is time now for the Sacred Mother to be re-born, seen and heard. There is an ancient memory of our land, our ancestors, our sacred and ceremonial ways, which is yearning to be loved and lived through us. Uniting us within our families, our communities, our world, our individual being - and our children. They are our future, if we can learn to be present with their deepest needs. As a wild-birthing Mother of two and sacred ceremony holder, l believe that living through Love we can be led in our divine tasks through the voice of our heart’s grace. My medicine is expressed through Dance, Sound, Music and Motherhood - I hold space for you to discover your own.

After years of surrendering to my soul’s path, and taking leap after leap of faith, I realise the abundance life has given me at every turn. There is a sacredness to life, and the silence behind the noise holds wisdom, if we can listen

Resourcing: We will be inviting  curiosity and play into our experience. Exploring different  practices that can raise your awareness of and capacity with the breath. Wether creating states of rest and rejuvenation, focus and balance or stimulating energy and inviting inspiration. These can be used to support you, both  in the day to day and  be explored as practices in a deeper way… or braided into other something  light and fun. The breath is always here, to both listen to and relate with.

Breath-holds: We will be exploring what happens when we suspend the Breath, intentionally and with curiosity. Inviting comfort into the breathless space, developing our resilience to stress, increasing CO2 tolerance (a good thing!), and brining awareness to the relation between the flow and volume of our thoughts through the Breath.

Conscious Connected Breathing: We will then guide you through a process of Conscious Connected Breathing, a simple yet profound rhythmic breathing practice. One of braiding willpower and kindness into the inhale, then inviting acceptance and letting go through the exhale, this is done whilst laying down with Jez and other Breathwork facilitators holding the space. As well as increasing your physical capacity for the breath, this can induce a full spectrum of experiences, from ecstatic states to physical and emotional release, to states of deep rest, calm, and everything in-between. You will be supported in both the intention of and the listening within your journey.

Integration: After the journey ends, we will have time to rest, begin integrating, and have an opportunity to share our experiences. There will be some unstructured space after the event ends to connect over tea, fruit and chocolate.

Our aim is to facilitate an experience of your own power with the breath, whilst in a co-created safe space. Introducing the breath as technology for you to integrate into your life, available for you to support navigating your states.
