Movement Medicine: Full Moon Dance

These are intense times that we are living in. Resourcing ourselves is crucial. So with the full moon, let us gather in an online community dance space. Let us move into deepening layers of connection and remember the power of our beating hearts. 
 

The ebb and flow of the tides are governed by the moon, and as the human body is mostly water, its gravitational pull effects us personally in different ways - amplifying our internal processes. During this full moon we are invited to dance with its magnifying effects and to release the old - letting go of those things that doesn’t serve us any longer. Shedding and shape shifting - to realign to what really matters to our hearts and to embody what we are grateful for in our lives.
 

ABOUT MOVEMENT MEDICINE

Movement Medicine is an immersive dance meditation, held with captivating music and clear guidance. In a polarised culture where so much of our wounding comes from disconnection, Movement Medicine offers the opportunity for reconnection. It connects us to our elemental nature, to our bodies, hearts and minds, to each other and to the sacredness of life. Our movement becomes the medicine that opens the door to insight, new possibilities and the transformative power of the dance. The freedom and creativity of the dance is a way into healing on a personal, relational and community level. 

ABOUT MIRA

Mira trained at The School of Movement Medicine and intuitively weaves from the rich tapestry of her experience as a dancer, therapist and artist. She creates a safe and sacred space for you to let go into the transformative power of the dance, deepening your connection to the creative life force within and around us. Her deep love of ritual is rooted in the way she facilitates her classes and she also offers regular Movement Medicine Ceremonies.

ACCESS:  We do our best to include everyone in our events, regardless of health circumstances.
