WE INVITE YOU TO DELVE INTO PLANTS AND NATURE CONNECTIVE LEARNING..come and camp for 2 nights and 3 days on the stunning coast of South Devon , relax , unwind  and let the plants do the talking!

I am very excited to be working with pro forager Trudy Turrell , she will be joining us for the whole weekend .

There is a way to memorise wild food and its not going on short 1 or 2 hour walks , they need to be shown and looked at 2 or 3 times over a 2 day event, seeing them in situ, picking them a number of times and seeing them over and over again. This is the only way to truly learn wild food , as there are 100's to study and it gets very confusing if you dont have them locked into your hunter gatherer mind. This is the way this weekend and all our other wild food learning sessions will be run.

Seaweeds should be a huge part of our diet in the UK as we have so much coastline , and as a human species getting very short on food supplies , there has never been a better and more poignant  time to study the plant world around us . You will learn approximately 14-16 seaweeds over the 2 days , cause there is also a limit of how much information we can take in , this number being the otpimum amount. We will also forage for 7 - 10  plants and flowers in the hedgerows and take a look at the beach plants around us.

Amongst playing , sunbathing and walking in this exquisite area of outstanding beauty ,  we will take a look at the fields and forest around the beach , the beach plants and of course the seaweeds . You will not believe the flavours to experience down there and you will not want to come back !
There's something that wants to keep us down by the ocean's shores , and it's not only the sun , surf and relaxed feeling , there's something in our soul that comes alive with the ocean , playing and swimming amongst the seaweed fronds and rocks and identifying all the strange little creatures in the rockpools....

We will learn to cook wonderful recipes from all the plants and seaweeds  that we have found along our way ,  creating the most succulent wild food dishes , all the while getting replenished by the sea air and expansive views of the ocean.
