CARRIE TREE AT THE SALON -
We are delighted to have the captivating UK songstress Carrie Tree returning to Amsterdam, to share her heart-melting songs with us once again!
Carrie visited Holland many times over the past 2 decades as she developed as an artist, touring across the Country, playing numerous house concerts, festivals, and events!
She describes Holland and the people as a ‘home away from home’, and is very happy to be returning.
The Salon is also a special haven and Sanctuary for her, where she played memorable concerts, and has beautiful memories with the colourful Amsterdam community, so this gathering is a reunion and celebration of old friends, as well as an intimate, uplifting concert to come and enjoy with us!
She looks forward to sharing some of her older songs (and is very open for requests), and will share her latest writing also.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Carrie Tree is a captivating performer, with a troubadour free-spirit, and creative passion for life.
Creating a deeply intimate setting and with a powerful capacity for storytelling, this UK Singer-Songwriter weaves her hypnotic voice around rhythmic guitar patterns, & oceanic piano, often bringing honesty and compassion to poignant subject’s and melting borders within us.
Building a dedicated following in the UK/Europe’s acoustic music scene for many years, Carrie has toured in countless retreats, festivals and concerts across the world. She has collaborated live and in the studio with an array of wonderful musicians such as Damien Rice, Carly Simon, Fink, Albert Mazibuko (Ladysmith Black Mambazo), Rumer, Aukai, Mirabai Ceiba, Murray Kyle, Martha Tilston, Andy Barlow of Lamb, as well as many other beautiful musicians and projects.
Carrie has self-released 3 studio albums - The Kitchen Table, 'Home To The Invisible', ‘The Canoe' produced by Markus Sieber (Aukai/MIrabai Ceiba), with single Sweet Earth & recent release ‘No games’. She continues to deepen her craft, connecting and uniting people through music.
