Medicine Drum Birthing Retreat Weekend

Please note that I need a minimum of 5 people in order for this retreat to proceed.

This beautiful weekend retreat is for you if:

*You are being called to use a medicine drum as part of your journey
*You wish to connect with yourself and nature and to make your own authentic medicine drum in a ceremonial way bringing your own personal medicine into your drum which will become a part of you
*You wish to be looked after for 2 days, nurtured all the way… to go somewhere where you will not have to think about anything other than yourself and your process
*You wish to immerse yourself into a retreat of healing, journeying, relaxation, connection to nature, laughter and support
* You wish to spend a weekend held by the land and trees in a beautiful wood in Herefordshire

I offer you all of the above and more. I have over 12 years experience of running these beautiful authentic medicine drum birthing retreats and have been birthing bespoke and commissioned medicine drums for over 15 years.

My retreats incorporate ceremonial releasing, channelled healing medicine soul songs, shamanic healing, shamanic drum healing & journeying work, meditations, voice work, channelled sound healing, Native North American Style Flute meditations... and of course, in all of this, making your own authentic 14"/15" drum and drum stick. 

I  am Faye Bradbury and I have been working with Spirit since I was born both as a healing channel, at one with the earth (I am a qualified shamanic practitioner and sound therapy practitioner amongst other things) and as a medium, clairvoyant, empath etc etc. With years of experience, I will take you on a beautiful journey of exploration of your inner Worlds, of release and healing, of a deep connection to the Earth and the stars and weaving all of your magic into the making and birthing of your personal medicine drum. I bring compassion, laughter, deep insight and the ability to safely hold you in a loving space in order for you to let go and think only about doing your work for yourself. On this weekend you will be held and nurtured and encouraged to spread your wings and explore your needs. I aim to ensure you have the most beautiful experience and that you go away with hearts full of healing, love and laughter. 

I work from the heart, putting everything I can in to these days, making it as special as each and every one of you are. So, a weekend full of, but not limited to, love, laughter, ceremony, celebration, release, healing, stillness, drum making, probably some tears, singing, rattling, drumming, new friendships and peace within. 

I limit the medicine drum making retreats to a maximum of 5-7 people so if you wish to attend, please ensure you either make your investment in full or pay the deposit to secure your place as soon as possible after contacting me to express your interest. 

WHERE IS IT BEING HELD
This weekend will be held in beautiful woods in Herefordshire, near Dymock and Ledbury. It will be a weekend of rustic charm, authentic connection to the earth, held by the gentle breathing earth and the sound of owls and trees singing softly as the wind carresses their leaves. This is YOUR time to totally let go and be looked after, nurtured and held in a safe space. We are off grid sleeping under the stars in your own tent or a bell tent, cooking together, compost loo, firepit and getting back to nature. 
 

ACCOMMODATION/FOOD
Accommodation is camping in either a bell tent or your own tent or van (we can only accommodate small vans). 
Please bring your own sleeping mats and covers or sleeping bags. There is a compost loo but no shower.

*Please bring your own towels, washing bowl/solar shower and your own plate, bowl, mug and cutlery. 
*Please bring a plate to share for Friday night's meal. Food will be supplied on Saturday and Sunday. Bring your favourite snacks if you would like to although fruit and tea and coffee and water will be provided in abundance.

ARRIVALS/DEPARTURES
Arrive between 17:30 -19:00 on the first day to explore the land and settle in. There will be a gathering to share food and connect to one another once you are all settled in. Departure is on Sunday, late afternoon.
