Join us for an afternoon of ecstatic dance as we celebrate the Spring Equinox and the launch of True Nature. All genders welcome!

We have been beavering away all winter, behind the scenes, and are finally ready to bring our new baby out into the world with the momentum of spring.

True Nature is an organisation dedicated to empowering women and we invite all gender so come and join us for this momentous occasion.

Over the last seven years we’ve worked with hundreds of women, and have developed a series of retreats, events and training programmes which awaken your wildness through embodiment, ritual and nature connection.

We wanted to mark the launch by giving you a flavour of what we actually do, and so we’ve devised a playful and deep ecstatic dance journey, for you to tune into the wisdom of cyclical living, and the archetypal energies within you.

*This event is welcome to all genders. This event is not suitable for folks under 16.

Ecstatic Dance

A sober dance space where you will be guided to explore 5 archetypal energies, beginning with the maiden or child archetype.

This archetype is also associated with the spring equinox, the energy of new beginnings, playfulness, the promise of summer, and the endless possibilities that await a child.

As we guide you through the other 4 archetypes (warrior, lover, sovereign and sage) you will experience the changing facets of your being through movement. This dance is about welcoming all parts of yourself to be seen and expressed.

The 5 archetypes each carry a distinct energy, emotional quality, and style of movement, which correlate to the changing seasons.

This is an invitation to embrace each of the energies as necessary parts of ourselves, and of nature, acknowledging that every part is needed to make the whole.

Ceremonial Cacao

We will be offering ceremonial cacao as part of this offering to turbo charge your dance and support you to drop into your body and heart.

There will be an extra charge of £3.60 if you want a cup that you can purchase as part of your ticket.

——

We look forward to meeting you, telling you more about our work, and giving you a proper dose of our magic and mischief.

For those wanting to, we'll gather at a pub nearby afterwards for food and drinks and a chance to chat.

“Many women feel alone and disconnected from who they truly are. True Nature retreats and events offer powerful experiences to bring women together, and teach them how to express themselves authentically, so they can feel more passion and agency in their lives.”

About the Facilitators

Hi, we’re Gaia and Alana, the founders of True Nature. We’ve been running retreats, training programmes and transformational events for women and mixed groups to support others to find a sense of belonging, wholeness and aliveness.

After many years of collaboration we felt a call to expand what we do and bring others along for the ride, offering the opportunity for fellow facilitators to offer events that align with our values and our mission to create a world with more reverence for the natural world, love and acceptance of ourselves, each other, and a fierce lust for life itself.
