Release anger through movement and activation of our primal voice

Expressing anger has long been a taboo in our society, making it difficult for people to allow the full range of emotions to flow. When our authentic expression is repressed, some or many of us end up bottling up difficult feelings. With time, we can feel this reflected in our bodies through muscle tensions, physical pain, emotional distress or even depression in the long term.

By bringing our emotions into our conscious awareness, and releasing them through the body, we can gain agency over how they influence our lives.

When we look at our anger in the eye and create a safe space for it to be released, we naturally develop insight into our boundaries that we might have been not aware of. A sense of liberation from challenging emotions like grief, shame or sadness often accompanies the process.

The aim of this workshop is to offer guidance and empower you to explore all the aspects that form your beautiful complex being, trusting that you can ride the wave of all your emotions. Channel your anger into healthy expression and let yourself be witnessed in your full fire. With the support of each other, we can finally break free from the stigma around embodying our authentic selves.

This experience will also provide you with anger management tools that you can integrate into your daily life.

This is an invitation for women and non-binary womb folk to come together to create a non-judgmental space, where we feel safe to release our anger through movement and activation of our primal voice. Once our shadows are brought to light, feeling them can be normalised and healthily reintegrated into our lives. In the context of this event, we are focusing on healing our relationship with rage.

"Powerful and connected. Since the session I'm now allowing myself to feel rage and disappointment when they appear instead of telling myself I'm being 'unreasonable' and suppressing them" Danielle

  • You feel ready to shift stuck patterns
  • You are tired of not being heard or not being taken seriously
  • You’ve had enough of playing small and are ready to fully step into your power
  • You are angry about the injustices of this world
  • You are angry about women being subjected to violence

Why do we do this work?

Making friends with our anger was transformational in our own lives, and has helped us to better understand ourselves with great self acceptance, and as a result we are more able to stand for what we believe in. We want to share this with others because we want to create a world where women feel empowered to speak their truth and are not afraid to make their voices heard.
