It is becoming increasingly common to read about plant medicines and psychedelics in mainstream media. In most cases, articles highlight the potential of these substances to cure depression, PTSD and addictions.

The ability of psychedelics to aid people in their search for meaning and self actualisation is less frequently discussed. What is more, psychedelics seem to enhance innovativeness and nature connectedness, two traits that are certainly needed for a shift toward a more sustainable paradigm.
