The Esoteric Path of Tarot: a Tool for Self-Discovery With Stefano Sgarbi - Introductory Workshop

Do you want to learn how to predict the future? Then this course is not for you! 

From the perspective that the future does not exist, here we want to approach the Tarot as a tool for clarifying the only ‘moment’ we can work with: the present.

According to Taoism, both past and future are contained in one eternal moment: the present (or vertical time). While being in harmony with the present, we can access to all kinds of information.

Here lies the main insight about the use of oracles: a way to connect with the deeper self, the higher self, the intuition or the collective consciousness. It does not matter what you call it. That part of you that seems to know, that part of you that, when it comes out, everything seems clearer and connected, even without being able to explain it. That part of you that seems like knowing something before it happens or to hear other people’s thoughts.

Tarot, like other oracles, is a way to improve the connection, the communication and the collaboration with that part of you. Studying the Tarot is like looking into a multi-dimensional quantum astral meta-mirror (XD). It is a way to a knowledge that seems to have some kind of a recurrent and transcultural feeling. Something that seems to resonate beyond time and space. And this knowledge can be kept with you and in a deck of cards, within your pocket and always accessible through its ancient symbolism and archetypes. 

Next to its study, there is its usage. Tarot can be used for finding clarification and harmony about ones situation, question or doubt. It is a therapeutic tool, a mirror of the soul that can support you and others.

In this Introductory Workshop we will explore the philosophy and the use of the Tarot and its esoteric relevance. The workshop will run for 1 hour 30 mins with a short break in the middle and will be followed by a 4-week course to begin in March.

FACILITATOR

Stefano Sgarbi

Stefano has an attraction to esoterism and the psychedelic world since early age. In 2012, when its awakening journey consciously started, he found himself with the mysterious I-Ching (the ancient Chinese oracle book) in his hands, without knowing anything about it. Through an intuitive use of it, he slowly began his way into the world of oracles, their philosophy and applications. Few years later, also thanks to a fascination towards Jodorowsky’s work, he gave a chance to an other tool for self discovery and esoteric study, a tool closer to his culture: the Tarot of Marseilles. The cards quickly started ‘speaking’ a language that Stefano felt to already know, allowing him a quick and friendly access. Since then, he began a deep study and use of the cards and their symbolism, starting from family and friends until offering readings in festivals and events. 

He encourages an intimate and creative approach to the oracle readings, working with the unique circumstances that they mirror: a truth that already lies in the heart of the people that want to search it. Stefano’s goal, through the use of the cards, is to help you preparing the right mindset that allows to discover and develop your own truth.

Next to its ongoing research of the occult, Stefano also makes and teaches electronic music, sound therapy and the art of conscious voicing.
