Emotion Release: Anger

Anger is an emotion that we all experience. When we work with it healthily: Acknowledging, expressing and alchemising it into feelings of passion and a connection to our inner fire, we can both illuminate shadow material that may otherwise be blocking us, and come into deeper fullness and expression. 

In Ancient Chinese Medicine, anger is acknowledged as being held in the liver. When unprocessed and misdirected, it can become a toxic emotion causing projection and pain, however when channelled healthily it can be turned into passion, the creation of strong boundaries, healthy activism and inner strength and courage. During this session, we will work with ancient Daoist techniques to clear the liver and bring the emotion back into healthy balance and clear direction. 

In this online space be held in deep process to allow you to safely release unexpressed anger that has become stored in your body and psyche. Be guided to acknowledge the energies of anger and frustration through a variety of powerful techniques including accessing the subconscious through theta meditation, purging through the voice and body (all modified so you can do this wherever you are joining us from), learn about anger's association with the liver and how to bring the liver back into balance through QiGong, and alchemise anger through Somatic work and felt sense in your body. 

Develop your own inner tool box to work with the experience of anger and your ability to move through it and channel it for good. Join us if you wish to leave liberated and take home simple, practical tools to find your way back to the deep wisdom and internal harmony of your heart and body.

Laura Reeves is creative director and founder of Infinite Experience, creating experiences designed to ignite oneness and release illusions of separation. She has designed and held workshops and interactive performances on physical release and heart connection all over the world and is excited to be back in London sharing the release space, a physical medicine for the body and soul.
