The Psychedelic Experience Demystified with Marta Kaczmarczyk / Women in Psychedelics Series

Marta Kaczmarczyk will share her knowledge of the science behind psychedelic experiences, helping you to understand what is going on in your body when you're tripping.

The demystification is not an endeavour to remove the spiritual content facilitated via these substances but to improve understanding of the emotional and nervous system processes occurring during the psychedelic experience.

By understanding what is happening during the psychedelic session, you will be able to increase the efficacy of your psychedelic experiences but also apply the knowledge to your everyday life for improved self-regulation. Comprehension of your natural body responses enables improved self-acceptance, self-compassion, and, if desired, constructive re-adaptation to life challenges.

Women in Psychedelics Webinar Series is a regular online event that hosts psychedelic women from around the world. Among them are scientists, researchers, psychiatrists, therapists, artists, bodyworkers and healers.

Marta Kaczmarczyk

Marta Kaczmarczyk is an optimisation/biohacking consultant and a trained psychedelic sitter. She specialises in natural supplements, psychedelics, cannabis, methods of switching off fight and flight response, as well as management of stress and energy levels. Marta is also an assistant facilitator at the Synthesis Retreat and a co-creator of the program and Client Experience Coordinator at the Longevity Centre. She has previously trained and worked as a carer/sitter for psychedelic emergencies during psychedelic festivals and as part of The Psychedelic Society of The Netherlands - an organisation that she co-founded. At the moment she is working on preparing safety guidelines for participants of retreats and ceremonies taking place in the Netherlands.

She is interested in demystifying the psychedelic experience and creating a scientific framework that would be more accessible to the Western mind and more relevant than the shamanic or new-age context, which is popular in the psychedelic community.
