Movement Medicine: Summer Solstice Dance

A warm invitation to join us as we celebrate the Summer Solstice. As we honour the power of the sun, it focusses our awareness on our own power and the way we can tend to the creative fires within and energise the seeds we have planted. What needs clearing out and in which direction do we set our inner compass as we clarify what really matters to us? 

What supports us as we grow and expand in the journey towards the fulfilment of our unique blueprints? This is a space to come into a deep recognition of the interconnectedness and interdependence of all living things. Our wellbeing is intimately connected to the wellbeing of the planet. During these intense times, resourcing ourselves is crucial. So let us gather in community, surrender to the spirit of the dance and create ritual space to remember our beating hearts. May our journey together become an embodied prayer, as we dance for ourselves, each other and the wellbeing of all.

ABOUT MOVEMENT MEDICINE

Movement Medicine is an immersive dance meditation, held with captivating music and clear guidance. In a polarised culture where so much of our wounding comes from disconnection, Movement Medicine offers the opportunity for reconnection. It connects us to our elemental nature, to our bodies, hearts and minds, to each other and to the sacredness of life. Our movement becomes the medicine that opens the door to insight, new possibilities and the transformative power of the dance. The freedom and creativity of the dance is a way into healing on a personal, relational and community level. 

ABOUT MIRA

Mira trained at The School of Movement Medicine and intuitively weaves from the rich tapestry of her experience as a dancer, therapist and artist. She creates a safe and sacred space for you to let go into the transformative power of the dance, deepening your connection to the creative life force within and around us. Her deep love of ritual is rooted in the way she facilitates her classes and she also offers regular Movement Medicine Ceremonies.
